Row updating in gridview in asp net c

In the grid View it binds 2-3 tables fields (I actually use v_tables to have all the needed fields by joining those tables). That may be because you are NOT following the steps.

I want to add some functions(updating, deleting rows) from gridview and also would like to use stored procedure. " Delete Command="DELETE FROM [Info] WHERE [Id] = @original_Id AND (([Name] = @original_Name) OR ([Name] IS NULL AND @original_Name IS NULL)) AND (([Country] = @original_Country) OR ([Country] IS NULL AND @original_Country IS NULL)) AND (([State] = @original_State) OR ([State] IS NULL AND @original_State IS NULL)) AND (([Date] = @original_Date) OR ([Date] IS NULL AND @original_Date IS NULL))" Insert Command="INSERT INTO [Info] ([Id], [Name], [Country], [State], [Date]) VALUES (@Id, @Name, @Country, @State, @Date)" Old Values Parameter Format String="original_" Select Command="SELECT * FROM [Info]" Update Command="UPDATE [Info] SET [Name] = @Name, [Country] = @Country, [State] = @State, [Date] = @Date WHERE [Id] = @original_Id AND (([Name] = @original_Name) OR ([Name] IS NULL AND @original_Name IS NULL)) AND (([Country] = @original_Country) OR ([Country] IS NULL AND @original_Country IS NULL)) AND (([State] = @original_State) OR ([State] IS NULL AND @original_State IS NULL)) AND (([Date] = @original_Date) OR ([Date] IS NULL AND @original_Date IS NULL))" basic thought is: click a row from the gridview for updating and then doing some changes for some fields and then click a button and the field data I made changes are updated by executing the stored procedure and display in the row (of course, the data in the fields of the table in SQL server database are also changed) Pass the Parameters Correctly: Next and done. Refer to the following article: Simple Insert Select Edit Update and Delete in ASP. Another reason may be because your table Does NOT have an Identity or PK Column.

When I updated certain row I got this message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Row Index; I got this error : Error 4 ' System.

Data Source = item; If you´ve already defined a Data Source, You can get the Data Grid View´s Data Source and cast it as a Datatable. Add the new row to the Data Table and Accept the changes. Data Table data Table = (Data Table)data Grid View. New Row(); dr To Add["Field1"] = "Value1"; dr To Add["Field2"] = "Value2"; data Table.
